Zwitserland: Artsen kunnen binnenkort cannabis voorschrijven

Artsen in Zwitserland moeten in de toekomst worden toegestaan om cannabis voor medische doeleinden voor te schrijven.

Dit voorstel van de Federale Raad heeft brede steun in het overleg gevonden.

SVP, SP, FDP en BDP ondersteunde de geplande wijziging van de Narcotica Wet.

Tot nu toe, konden patiënten in Zwitserland cannabis alleen gebruiken voor therapeutische doeleinden, met een speciale toestemming van het ministerie van gezondheid.

Ärzte in der Schweiz sollen in Zukunft Cannabis für medizinische Zwecke verschreiben dürfen. Dieser Vorschlag des Bundesrates hat im Konsultationsprozess breite Zustimmung gefunden. SVP, SP, FDP und BDP unterstützen die geplante Novellierung des Betäubungsmittelgesetzes. Bislang konnten Patienten in der Schweiz Cannabis nur zu therapeutischen Zwecken verwenden, mit einer Ausnahmegenehmigung des Bundesamtes für Gesundheit.

Switzerland: Doctors may soon prescribe cannabis

Doctors in Switzerland should in future be allowed to prescribe cannabis for medical purposes. This proposal by the Federal Council has met with broad approval in the consultation process. The SVP, SP, FDP and BDP support the planned amendment to the Narcotics Law. Until now, patients in Switzerland have only been able to use cannabis for therapeutic purposes with an exception permit from the Federal Office of Public Health.
